Parents can “drop in” on their children at AppleTree Day School via the World Wide Web. AppleTree Day School has installed video cameras in every classroom linked to the internet so parents can watch their children during the day. Parents select a password to log on to a secure area of AppleTree Day School’s website. Cameras placed throughout the building provide live streaming video to your computer. This brings parents both peace of mind and a sense of security. Room level permissions ensure that authorized parents and families are limited to only those cameras in classrooms that their children are enrolled in. In addition our facility is connected to the local Police and Fire Departments. Specialty hardware on exit doors has been installed should an emergency situation arise. Additionally, every employee of AppleTree Day School has an FBI criminal history background check ran and verified for everyone’s peace of mind.

Lobby Security

Lobby Security The Lobby entrance to AppleTree Day School is secure from the actual classrooms. Only those with the appropriate pass code to the computer security system can gain access to the area where children are in the main building. Each child must be checked in and out electronically everyday. We enforce our policy by assigning unique pin numbers to parents and other authorized people who may be picking up the child. AppleTree Day School keeps updated files of authorized people who can pick up children in case of emergency. No child will be released to anyone without proper authorization and identification, ever.
