GiggleBytes computer classes provide your child the opportunity to participate in exciting, interactive computer classes with his/her peers.  Through personalized instruction children will learn to use computers as a tool, develop specific age appropriate computer skills and become a safe competent user.  In class, children work in small, highly interactive groups.  In addition to computer and academic skills, cooperation and listening skills are emphasized.

Classes are available to children starting at age 2 years through 6 years of age.  Classes are held in small groups of no more than 5 children for a 30 to 40 minute class period.  Teachers complete weekly lesson plans for each group and send home class summaries each week.

In Little Amigos your child will learn new Spanish vocabulary that builds on the class before.  A class summary is sent home with the vocabulary words spelled out phonetically so that you can learn right along with your child!  There is also an “at home” section with tips on reinforcing what your child has learned in class.Little Amigos is an action-packed class that includes: Song and dance, crafts, puppets, Spanish Books, and Art and Culture Studies.  Little Amigos classes are taught by educated, fluent, bi-lingual teachers who know how to teach Spanish in an exciting way, and instill a love for Spanish Heritage in your little one.

Study after study has shown that music instruction at an early age leads to significant improvement in language skills, spatial awareness and higher mathematics as well as many forms of creativity.  The MusicMan offers music education and entertainment for young children.  The goal is to provide the highest quality education while boosting children’s self esteem.  The MusicMan provides circumstances which create not only a feeling of safety and reassurance, but also take music appreciation to a new level as well as providing inspiration for freedom of creative expression.  The program includes: Singing dozens of fun melodies, learning the joy of rhythms and rhyme, adventures with a variety of musical styles, a delightful appreciation of music and your child’s individual voice, fun fine motor movement, dancing,music, stories, to rhythm & more, a naturally warm group experience in a convenient place, and exposure to a variety of folk and ethnic instruments & music.

Soccer Shots was started over ten years ago by two professional soccer players looking to develop an “intro to soccer” program for children 3 thru 8 years of age.  By combining their love of the game with their youth coaching experience, the founders created Soccer Shots – an innovative program that emphasizes both soccer skills and character skills by using  imaginative soccer games children love.

Soccer Shots sessions have been professionally designed and are led by trained Soccer Shot instructors.  Each 30 – 40 minute weekly session is held onsite at AppleTree Day School.  The primary objective of each session is to creatively introduce your child to the sport of soccer.  Character development, physical skills, and fun are guaranteed in this exciting new program.

Kinderdance is a Dance & Fitness Program for children ages 2 thru 9 years of age.  Classes are taught in Ballet, Tap, Creative Movement, Physical Fitness and Motor Skills.  All classes are blended with educational concepts and movement terminology.  Our program builds self-confidence and self-eteem in the young child.

All Kinderdance programs blend age appropriate educational concepts with many forms of movement and dance.  The programs help develop dance and gross motor skills, mind/body movement creativity, fitness and body awareness.  Each is taught using lesson plans and age appropriate music and songs.

Classes are held weekly onsite at AppleTree Day School.  Parent class visits are encouraged and we have an end of year program for the children enrolled.
