SUMMER CAMP INFORMATION AND REGISTRATION

In many families, both parents work, making after school programs critical during the school year and particularly during school holidays and summer break.  For children 6 to 12 AppleTree Day School offers what parents and children are looking for – a safe environment for additional learning/study time and supervised activities.

AppleTree Day School offers a program for school-age children after their elementary school day is over.  Our buses pick the children up from school and bring them back to our center for the remainder of the afternoon.  Our after school program is organized to allow the children as much freedom of choice as possible within a structured and safe environment.  We provide a variety of interesting and fun activities for the afternoon, as well as supervised homework time.  In our fun, productive and supervised environment each child also has the opportunity to develop special friendships.

By meeting with parents, our teachers can determine what each child requires after school.  Perhaps an older child needs more help in order to complete homework assignments, or a younger child may need special tutoring in reading or math.  This also is a good time to let children learn more about computers, which are available at the center.  But our teachers know that after a busy day at school, children need time to play.  Supervised playground time is divided by age group and gives each child the chance to direct that special energy only children have.  Plus we have a library area that children can visit and choose from our vast array of age appropriate books for their enjoyment.  Our school age program is designed to extend your child’s academic learning from the traditional classroom setting into our quality learning center.

Summer Camp for school age children is an awesome experience.  We provide unforgettable experiences by providing the highest quality programs for our after schoolers.  These programs offer a variety of arts and crafts, games, sports, and field trips.  The Summer Camp experience includes exciting themes that form daily activities as well as a schedule full of exciting and interesting field trips.  Summers are filled with fun, friends, and memories.  We publish a calendar of activities each March for that  summer.  Contact us for more information!
